About Me

Hey there,
I’m Saksham, currently 16 and studying in 11th class.
I belong to the city of kebabs… Eh? Kebabs?! Seriously?! Why would someone title a town, ‘City of Kebabs’?!
Eccentric it may seem, but Lucknow is actually pretty famous for its food and cuisine. Take Tunday Kebab for instance, who hasn’t heard of it?! (Well, if you haven’t, then consider this, Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan especially came here to have the kebabs.. ) Then we have the chaat, the Lucknavi Biryani and the sweet.
So, I guess, I don’t need to emphasise anymore on the fact that I’m a BIG foodie.

Moving on; one can call me creatively curious. And I love learning new stuff! Aaand I’m fascinated by topics such as astrophysics, neuroscience, psychology, astro-biology, mythology, web-designing and world history. (They don’t seem to be even remotely related, but I love learning about all this stuff.. *learning is fascinating; studying is boring* 😉

I love travelling! My dream goal is a one year backpacking vacation in Europe. *gives me the chills, sure it does*
And probably my most productive hobby is photography (because the rest include sleeping, doing nothing, and staring into the oblivion)

I’m a bookworm. And a music-addict, with the general tinge of being a movie buff.
Artists that frequent my Most-Played list include: Switchfoot, Fall Out Boy, Poets Of The Fall, Ed Sheeran, Lana Del Rey ❤️, Coldplay, Passenger, Arctic Monkeys, OneRepublic, Imagine Dragons, 30 Seconds To Mars, American Authors, Mumford & Sons, Muse, Enrique Iglesias (the old one) *sigh*, Bastille, Bryan Adams, George Micheal, The Beatles, Queen, U2, The Doors, Journey…and the list goes on and on and on … 😉 And, and, and I love listening to some classic Hindi Songs as well (the oldie-goldie type…yeah)

Here’s the thing. When friends inquire about my favourite movie,
What I usually say : Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara followed by Almost Famous and something something.
Their Reaction : Dude! Are you serious?! The lack of your ability to make good choices disturbs me…

Well, they expect me to name all those action and fantasy movies enjoyed watching together. But to be honest, I prefer contemporary movies to fiction. Though I’m a geek at heart, honest movies beautifully based on something realistic can blow my mind more than any sci-fi movie..  And also I’m a British TV-addict for sure! *Sherlock and Doctor Who* *sweats* *goes and puts on his bow-tie and hat*

I adore dogs! I play badminton and tennis, and sometimes football, although I love watching almost all the sports. I particularly love curling!! And I hope to play it one day…
I love quizzing, especially IT quizzing, debating, though I’m not that good at extempore, and writing.

I’m a round peg in the square hole. A religious fan of almost everyone who has challenged the society, gone out of his comfort zone, worked hard and done something different. I wish to be an entrepreneur, for I believe I’m one of those Crazy Ones! 😀 But whatever happens, I want to do something adventurous with my life. Something so unconventional and wondrous that it leaves me with no regrets in the end.

So, I guess that was it… Me in a series of 1s and 0s. Now, I just hope that you enjoy reading this blog, as much as I love writing it! 🙂

    • Thank you sooo much! :D) I’m probably jumping on my chair right now! =)
I’m so terribly sorry that I could not reply at that time (this monster named ‘exam’ was after me!) And this was truly the best way to end the exams!
Thank you so much once again and I hope that I continue to ‘inspire’ you as long as I keep blogging… 🙂

      • Saksham, if you are interested in the genre of Christian, spiritual literature, would you mind checking out our site @ http://www.indiascrown.com We just launched this site meant to connect Christian American authors with like-minded readers and we are looking for bloggers in India to network with. If you like what you see, please “follow” our blog and we can list you under “bloggers from India” page on our site. If it isn’t your faith, or interest, no problem. Either way still, truly enjoyed your site-photos and the way that you write are very entertaining and fun to read.
My husband is from India and we travel to India quite often. We also have wanderlust too and love to go around in India and the US too. 🙂

      • Checked it out. Thought it was great! Mythology always enchants me, so I wouldn’t mind reading books on it… 🙂 And that would be a pretty good source of learning… 🙂

Thank you…! 🙂 It is really great to meet people who share the same fondness for travelling!! 🙂 Hope to see you around (maybe I’ll bump into you in India, someday) 🙂

  1. Hi there Saksham, thank you so much for stopping by my blog and deciding to follow. 🙂 I love the energy in your blog. (Curious to see how the Scarface Chronicles end. Did you have a story in your mind too that you’ll talk about finally, or are you happy letting the contributors finish it?)

    • Hey! 😃 I thoroughly enjoyed you ‘half photographs’ :p and truly liked the concept of your other blogs… 😊😊
And thanks a ton for your lively words… ☺️☺️
Moving on…um.. Scarface Chronicles, I guess wasn’t that of a great show. What I had, initially, in mind was that I would write all the four/five parts. But as I started with WordPress, I thought, “hey! In order to make the story more user friendly and interactive, why not let my followers or friends complete the remaining parts?!” And so when the idea made its place in the head, it managed to conquer the blog post. But then again Scarface Chronicles had no buyers except a few. But I honestly appreciate your reading it and giving a thought about it. 😊
Had I written the ending, I would have given it a not-so-clichéd climax. I wanted to create a protagonist who would become the hero as well as the villain when necessary… But, alas, I don’t know if I would continue the series now. By the way, it would be truly amazing if you ever try your hand at the story. Would seriously appreciate that and would love to carry the story forward… 🙂
